Anti-Ragging Cell
Ethics University is committed to maintaining a safe,
respectful and inclusive academic environment by preventing
ragging and providing effective support, reporting and
redressal mechanisms for students.
The Anti-Ragging Cell is constituted to support
the university's efforts towards prevention of ragging and to
promote a campus culture based on dignity, mutual respect and
student safety. The cell works through awareness, monitoring,
reporting and appropriate action in accordance with applicable
university rules and regulatory requirements.

About the Cell
Role of the Anti-Ragging Cell
The Anti-Ragging Cell works as an institutional mechanism for
prevention and redressal of ragging-related concerns. It may
include senior faculty members, nominated student
representatives and other members as prescribed by the
university. The cell supports awareness programmes, monitors
student welfare concerns and facilitates appropriate action on
complaints in accordance with applicable rules and procedures.

Institutional Support
Committee & Responsibilities
Senior faculty members and designated university
representatives may form part of the cell to coordinate
prevention, awareness and complaint-handling activities.
Appropriate student representation may be included to
strengthen communication, awareness and student welfare
initiatives.
The cell coordinates with relevant university authorities
and other designated bodies whenever a complaint or
student-safety concern requires institutional action.
Reported matters are reviewed through the prescribed
institutional procedure and appropriate steps are taken
according to applicable rules.
Complaint Mechanism
How to Report Ragging
Online Complaint
Students may report an incident through the designated
online complaint mechanism. Complaints should include
sufficient details to enable appropriate review.
In-Person Reporting
Students may approach the Dean's office or the designated
Anti-Ragging Cell representative for guidance and complaint
registration.
Support & Counseling
Appropriate academic, personal and welfare support may be
facilitated for students affected by a ragging-related
incident.
Prevention Programme
Awareness & Activities
New students are informed about university rules,
student responsibilities, anti-ragging provisions and
available reporting mechanisms during induction and
orientation activities.
Sensitization workshops, seminars and awareness sessions
may be organised to encourage mutual respect and a
positive campus culture.
Posters, notices, student communications and other
awareness initiatives may be used to communicate
anti-ragging policies and reporting procedures.
Relevant university authorities may monitor hostels,
classrooms and other campus areas as part of preventive
student-safety measures.
