National Cadet Corps (NCC)

Developing disciplined, responsible and confident young citizens through leadership, character building, community service, adventure activities and national integration at Ethics University.

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) at Ethics University provides students with opportunities to develop discipline, leadership, teamwork, physical fitness and a strong sense of social responsibility through structured training and co-curricular activities.

NCC is a youth development organisation that provides students with structured opportunities for discipline, leadership, character development and responsible citizenship.

University cadets participate in institutional, community-oriented and training activities under the guidance of authorised NCC personnel.

Vision: To nurture disciplined, confident and responsible young citizens who contribute positively to society and the nation.

Mission: To develop leadership, teamwork, physical fitness, social responsibility, national integration and a spirit of service among students.

Objectives of NCC

    Develop self-discipline, responsibility, confidence and positive personal qualities among student cadets.
  • Leadership & Teamwork
    Encourage leadership abilities, cooperation, communication and effective teamwork through structured activities.
  • Physical Fitness
    Promote physical fitness, healthy habits and resilience through drills, sports and outdoor activities.
  • Community Service
    Encourage cadets to participate in community service, awareness programmes, social initiatives and institutional activities.
  • Adventure & Training
    Provide opportunities for camps, outdoor learning, adventure activities and practical training as applicable to the NCC programme.
  • National Integration
    Promote unity, mutual respect, cultural understanding and a spirit of national integration among student cadets.

Key NCC Activities

Drill & Parade

Conduct structured drills, parade practices and ceremonial activities to develop discipline, coordination and confidence.

Physical Training

Encourage physical fitness and endurance through regular training, exercise and sports-oriented activities.

Camps & Training

Facilitate participation in applicable NCC camps, training programmes and institutional development activities.

Social Service

Organise and participate in community service, awareness drives, cleanliness activities and social responsibility programmes.

Adventure Activities

Provide exposure to outdoor and adventure-based learning activities wherever included within the applicable NCC programme.

National Integration

Promote unity, cultural understanding, teamwork and interaction among students through NCC initiatives.

NCC Cadet Values & Responsibilities

  • Cadets are expected to maintain discipline, punctuality and appropriate conduct during NCC activities.
  • Participation in training, drills, camps and activities should follow applicable NCC instructions and institutional guidelines.
  • Cadets should demonstrate teamwork, mutual respect, responsibility and a spirit of service.
  • Community service activities should be conducted with appropriate institutional coordination and supervision.
  • Cadets are encouraged to maintain physical fitness and participate actively in approved training activities.
  • All NCC activities shall be undertaken in accordance with applicable NCC regulations and directions of authorised authorities.
